The Church of Saint Teresa of Avila was erected in 1922, but it was not until 1939 that it became a cathedral. This Romanesque-Byzantine-style structure is a true work of art with its mosaics, Italian marble, and French stained-glass windows.

The Pageau Refuge takes in wild animals in need with a view to rehabilitating them and releasing them back into the wild. When release is not possible, it offers long-term shelter to these animals, to whom it owes the continuation of its mission.
